On Friday 2nd May, 2025, we had a remarkable conversation with @SarahBenhamo and @SharonIsindi from Victory Farms, one of Africaโs fastest-growing fish farming enterprises, based in Roo Village, along Lake Victoria in Homa Bay County, Kenya at The Strathmore Agri-Food Innovation Center. Our discussion focused on exploring strategic areas of collaboration, particularly how Victory Farms could leverage our data-driven resources and how we, in turn, could learn from their stunning, localized operational model that aligns closely with community growth.
As Victory Farms looks to expand its footprint, we see a unique opportunity to support their journey by offering customized programs for their staff and clients, programs designed to enhance expertise and bridge skills gaps in the fish industry. This partnership also opens doors for our university students to access internship placements at Victory Farms, enriching their academic experience with practical learning.
Furthermore, we aim to explore joint initiatives in market research, data sharing, and quality control efforts that will contribute to sustainable growth and operational excellence across fish farms and cage systems.
Additionally, we believe Victory Farms would gain significant value by joining our Community of Practice forum, where they can engage with a broad network of businesses, share knowledge, and tap into collaborative opportunities within our vibrant ecosystem.
